The Star Princess cruise liner was refused permission to dock because of a norovirus outbreak. According to studies by the Midwest Research Institute, the technology that powers the UVAIRx product line reduces active Noroviruses by 99%. Noroviruses are responsible for up to 50% of all food-born outbreaks of gastroenteritis.
