Jim’s success in launching 11 diverse businesses in multiple regions has earned him recognition from the State of Colorado and nomination for Merrill Lynch’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Texan by birth, he earned his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston before joining Texas Instruments and Collins Radio as a manager for classified thermal control and heat transfer programs. Subsequent endeavors included start-up-to-sale guidance of companies producing core memory products, medical electronics and custom power solutions. Prior to its private equity sale in 2007, Martin’s international enterprise ElectriTek-AVT, Inc. was named by Inc. Jacobson earned his BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado. He served first with a small Denver tax practice, then joined client firm Stahl Roofing as production controller. His responsibilities there were wide ranging—from material procurement and crew coordination to client contracting and all controller functions. Recruited as financial controller by ElectriTek-AVT, Inc., he established the reporting metrics used to drive the firm to international success. James Martin

    Chief Operating Officer

Martin holds a BSBA and an MBA with honors from the University of Colorado. His first career challenge was the turn-around of Galveston Bay’s Joe Camp Ford, which he accomplished through an integrated IT system, revised management/financial protocols and an abundance of analytical problem solving. He returned to Colorado, accepting the multi-function direction of ElectriTek-AVT, Inc. The directive—to integrate manufacturing, order entry, accounting, sales, material planning and inventory control onto a single-enterprise platform—was achieved through Martin’s on-time, on-budget selection and implementation of an enterprise resource planning system. He was promoted to vice-president of Business Systems, which encompassed CFO and COO responsibilities.
